Endocrine, nutritional and metabolic diseases
(Nutritional, Endocrine, Metabolic Disturbance)
The endocrine system is a messenger system comprising feedback loops of the hormones released by internal glands of an organism directly into the circulatory system, regulating distant target organs. Nutrition is the biochemical and physiological process by which an organism uses food to support its life. A metabolic disorder is a disorder that negatively alters the body's processing and distribution of macronutrients, such as proteins, fats, and carbohydrates.
